About Dr. Tardik, ND
Dr. Tardik is committed to the advancement of evidence based Naturopathic medicine. He has authored several articles – including, Lactoferrin – A Natural Molecule May be leading the way as a new Anti-Cancer Agent in Humans, Strain-Specific Probiotics, and New, Emerging and Controversial Risk Factors for Atherosclerotic Vascular Disease.
Dr. Tardik has also worked as a research consultant for Health Canada, Natural Health Product Directorate, researching the efficacy and safety of natural health care products. He has developed products in the natural health industry for muscle wasting in seniors and cancer cachexia along with a product to prevent side effects from ‘Statins’ – Cholesterol medication.
In 2009, Dr. Tardik moved his practice to Cobourg Ontario, a “wellness” town east of Toronto. Here, Dr. Tardik works as part of an integrated team committed to providing the highest quality of care.
Dr. Tardik has worked collaboratively with medical doctors like Gastroenterologist, and Uro-Oncologists and Family physicians. He is devoted to helping his patients achieve optimal health and to providing the highest quality of care.
Dr. Tardik is a newly elected council member for the College of Naturopaths of Ontario. In this role he works as part of a multi-disciplinary council to guide regulation of Naturopathic Doctors in Ontario, in the public interest.
In addition to his passion for science and medicine, Dr. Tardik is active in martial arts and is a musician who enjoys playing guitar.
